Welcome to my account. All of my submissions go through my account before they reach this one. This account focuses on what I feel is my best photography, unlike my other account which contains all of my artistic and photojournalistic photography; fine art and design.

Any comments on the work submitted here would be most appreciated and helpful as I am hoping to develop my photographic style. I'm not sure what style I have and whether or not my gallery reflects it. I am drawn to colour, shape, form. I like macro photography and spontaneous street photography. I like to grab an automatic camera and get it to focus in on an object; make it a sharp photograph I'll always love; disguise the object and have the edges just jump out at you. I love the mystery behind macro.

I have tried to submit all my deviations here in the order they were taken but for their purpose here it does not really matter. All photographs here were taken by me since 2004, most in late 2005 and early 2006.

I am trying to branch out in my photography, find new ideas and subjects. I travel more now than ever and hopefully this will help. The main things I enjoy photographing are my dog, for he has so much character and looks different every day; the constantly changing light and weather around me here in Scotland and any large or small colourful object. I adore the shapes plastic comes in. Stick a glass lens right on the edge of something and you can create something entirely new. This is the way I see the world.
